Ethernet media converters connect 100Base-TX shielded or unshielded twisted-pair copper cable to 100Base- FX fiber-optic cable. The media converters are designed to be installed in pairs where the CRMFE10xx-20x is the local media converter and the SRMFE10xx-20x is the remote media converter.
