To make a connection between PCPro and the system:
1.
Select a Connection Type and specify the settings relevant to the
selected type.

Specify the User Name and Password used to allow the connection.

Press the Connect button.
After a successful connection, the connection settings that are used are
set to the File Properties.
With SL1100 PC Pro 3.5 or higher, after connecting PC Pro automatically downloads the
database if there has been no changes to the new/default database.
If one change is made to the default database the download does not happen, even if the
change is set back.

Connection Types

PCPro supports two types of connections to a system.
Connection Types for SL1100:
IP
An IP Connection can be made via a LAN or the Internet. The IP
address specified should match the system setting 10-12-01. If
connecting to the ethernet port on the VoIP daughter board, use the
IP address setting in 10-12-09.
Dial-up
An IP via Dial-up can be made via a dial-up connection, either
through ISDN or an analog modem.
The Dial-up connection has to be up and connected before trying to
use this connection.
2.2.2

Create SL1100 Dial Up Connection

When connecting an SL1100 via modem, a Dial Up Connection
(PPP) must be created. The following steps describe how to set up
the Dial Up Connection (PPP).
