The gray line of the hystereses makes clear the condition of OUT
depending on the previous condition of OUT and the measured value. If
the measured value, e.g. is between the start value and the end value for
curve 006 then OUT can either be equal to 0 or to 1. If OUT was = 0, then
OUT remains at 0; if OUT was = 1, then OUT remains at 1.
A hysteresis thereby provides the possibility of obtaining stable output
behavior for measured values that deviate within certain limit values.
The effect of a comparative condition is illustrated based on the condition
"004: counter value outside of the start value and end value".
• If the counter value is smaller than the start value then the
comparative condition is fulfilled and OUT is set to "1".
• If the counter value is greater than or equal to the start value and
smaller than/equal to the end value then the comparative condition is
not fulfilled and OUT is set to "0".
• If the counter value is greater than the end value then the comparative
condition is fulfilled and OUT is set to "1".
