5 V sensors
Actuator
The power supply to the terminal is carried out by the voltage jumper.
The additional connection of supply voltages is not required.
Sensors and the actuator must be connected using the connectors.
Connector set R-IB IL AO/CNT-PLSET must be used for the R-IB IL CNT
terminal.
It comprises a shielded connector and a standard connector. If you use 5
V signals for the sensors then you must use the shielded connector.
If you are not using such signals then the connecting lines do not need to
be shielded and you can then use two standard connectors.
Connect unshielded lines in according with chapter "Connecting
Unshielded Lines" on page 4-6.
Connect shielded lines in according with chapter "Connecting Shielded
Lines using the Shielded Connector" on page 4-7.
The 24 V sensors can be connected in the following ways:
• 2-wire connection (signal and 24 V)
• 3-wire connection (signal and GND)
The 5 V sensors can be connected in the following ways:
• 2-wire connection (signal, GND) with shield and external 5 V supply
voltage
You can connect the actuator as a 2-wire connection (signal and GND).
