5.1

Preparing the work space

The incubator is not delivered in a sterile state. Before the initial
start-up, the device must be decontaminated.
Before the decontamination is performed, the following work
space components must be cleaned:
• Support rails,
• support hooks,
• shelves,
• gas humidification,
• work space surfaces,
• work space seals and gaskets,
• glass door
NOTE – Decontamination
For details about the cleaning and disinfection
of the device, see Section 9.

Mounting the door handle

Fig. 11: The door handle [4] can be installed to the face of the
outer door [2] either at the upper position [1] or at the lower po-
sition [3]. Two holes are drilled in each position.
1. Install the door handle by using the 2 self tapping srews [5]
provided.
2. Cap the unused holes with the protective caps.
