CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE

• The appliance must not be immersed in water. Do not
place the motor block () under running water.
• Once usage is complete, disconnect the appliance.
• Immediately clean your bowl after use.
• Remove the bowl from its base by taking the handle with
one hand and pressing the bowl unlocking button (B3)
• Place the bowl on a flat surface.
• Unlock the lid by turning it to the right. Remove the
lid with care.
• The elements of the lid (seal, sub-lid and lid) are
removable. Once the parts have cooled down, unclip
the sub-lid of the lid by pressing the two tabs of the lid
while pulling the sub-lid (see fig. 14)
• Take precautions when handling the chopper knife.
It has extremely sharp blades.
• Once the parts have cooled down:
– Disassemble the knife by unscrewing the ring below
the bowl, being careful not to cut yourself.
– clean the bowl, the knife, the accessories, the
internal steamer basket and the external* steamer
basket, using a sponge and hot soapy water.
• Rinse these different elements under running water.
• In the case of limescale on the bowl or stains you can
use the abrasive side of a sponge dampened with white
vinegar, if necessary, or with maintenance products
adapted for stainless steel.
• In the case of severe clogging, allow to soak for several
hours with water and some washing-up liquid, and
if needed, scrape with the spatula (D4) or with the
abrasive side of a sponge.
• To clean the motor block (C1), use a damp cloth. Dry
it carefully.
• To make cleaning easier, the lid assembly and
accessories are dishwasher safe except for the bowl
and knife.
• The accessories, the removable knife and the parts of the
lid, can be stained slightly with certain ingredients such
as curry, carrot juice, etc.; this does not present a danger
to your health, nor for the operation of your appliance.
To avoid this, clean the items quickly after use.
• Before reusing your bowl assembly (B), make sure that
the electrical contacts under the bowl are always clean
and dry.
• So as not to alter to materials of the knife (B1), do not
let it soak in the water for too long.
APPLIANCE STORAGE
To facilitate the storage of your appliance, place the internal
steam basket in the bowl and the two mixer accessories and
beater in the steam basket and close the lid.
