Front Panel Features
Power Status LED
USB Config Port
Input signal LED
Power status LED — Lights when power is applied to the unit.
USB Config port — Used for SIS commands and PCS configuration, monitoring, and
firmware updates. This port can be used as an alternative to the rear panel RS‑232
captive screw connector (see
NOTE: Extron recommends using the USB port for temporary connections. If a
permanent connection is required, the RS‑232 port should be used.
Input Signal LED — Lights when a TMDS signal is detected on the HDMI input. If the
source requires HDCP encryption, this LED may light only when HDCP is authenticated.
Output Signal LEDs — Light when hot plug detect is detected from the corresponding
sink device. Each output signal has its own signal LED: two for the DA2 HD 4K PLUS,
four for the DA4 HD 4K PLUS, and six for the DA6 HD 4K PLUS.
Input HDCP LED — Lights when the source requires HDCP encryption and it has
been authenticated with the HDMI input.
