Remote Desktop

Using the Remote Desktop connection you can log onto a Windows Terminal Server and
use all programs installed on this server. For example, instead of running Microsoft Pocket
Word, you can run the desktop version of Microsoft Word.

Connecting to a Terminal Server

To connect to a terminal server:
1. Select Start - Programs - Remote Desktop Connection, or run 'MSTSC' from the
command prompt. The initial Remote Desktop Connection window appears.

2. In the Computer drop-down list, type a Terminal Server name or TCP/IP address,
or select a server.
3. Tap Connect.
4. In the next Remote Desktop Connection window, type your user name, password,
and domain (if required), and then tap OK.

Disconnecting Without Ending a Session

To disconnect a session:
1. In the Remote Desktop Connection window, select Start - Shutdown.
2. Tap Disconnect.
3. Tap OK.
