Driving your vehicle
Warning Timing

With the vehicle on, touch Settings →
Vehicle → Driver Assistance → Driving
Safety → Forward Safety Warning Tim-
ing on the infotainment system to
change the initial warning activation tim-
ing of Reverse Parking Collision-Avoid-
ance Assist.
Warning Timing can be set either Nor-
mal or Late.
僅 Normal: Select Normal in normal driv-
ing conditions. If the Warning Timing
is too early for you, you can change it
to Late.
僅 Late: If Late is selected, Reverse Park-
ing Collision-Avoidance Assist alerts
the driver with relatively late warn-
ings.
CAUTION
僅 If a vehicle in front suddenly stops,
the warning may seem late even
though the warning timing is set to
Normal.
僅 Select Late only when driving in light
traffic or at slow speed.

Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA)

With the vehicle on, touch Settings →
Vehicle → Driver Assistance → Warning
Sound and Haptic on the infotainment
system to change the Warning Sound
and Haptic.
僅 Warning Volume: You can adjust the
Warning Volume from level 1 to 3. If
equipped with steering wheel vibra-
tion, the volume level can be set from
0 to 3.
僅 Steering Wheel Vibration Warning:
Steering wheel vibration can be
selected. (if equipped)
僅 Driving Safety Priority: For safe driv-
ing, the audio volume will temporarily
decrease to warn the driver with the
audible warning.
NOTICE
僅 Ensure that Warning Sound and Hap-
tic you have set may apply to the
Warning volume of other Driver Assis-
tance systems.
僅 Warning Sound and Haptic will main-
tain its last setting even if the vehicle
is restarted.
僅 If not equipped with the navigation
system, select User Settings → Driver
Assistance to adjust the Warning Vol-
ume.
