Transporting the Printer
If you need to transport your printer, carefully repack it using its
original box and packing materials.
Follow these steps to repack the printer:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Open the front cover and remove the imaging cartridge.

3. Remove all paper from the MP tray and all paper cassettes.
4. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet; then
disconnect the interface cable from the printer.
5. Remove the optional lower paper cassette unit, if installed.
6. Repack the printer in its original box using the protective
materials that came with it.
Caution:
Do not expose the imaging cartridge to light any longer than
necessary.
