4. Connect the interface cables, then plug the power code.
Note:
When you use a Macintosh computer, go to step 7.
5. Turn on the printer.
6. Access the printer driver. The EPSON EPL-1220 Advanced
Properties dialog box appears, and the optional settings are
applied. The 250-Sheet Lower Paper Cassette Unit is shown
on the Optional Settings tab. And then click OK.
Note:
The 250-Sheet Lower Paper Cassette Unit is shown as "Lower
Cassette" on the Optional Settings tab.
7. Print a status sheet to confirm that the 250-Sheet Lower Paper
Cassette Unit is installed correctly. For details, see "Printing
a Status Sheet" on page 120.
Note:
When the 250-Sheet Lower Paper Cassette Unit is installed
correctly, the available paper sources (MP Tray, LC1, and LC2) are
listed on the status sheet.

Removing

To remove the 250-Sheet Lower Paper Cassette Unit, perform the
steps in "Installing" conversely.
