10–1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter provides preventative maintenance procedures. If performed according to schedule, they should keep
the RTfino/RT3200 Advantage–II/RT–x200 operating properly and safely.
10–1–1 Periodic Maintenance
Periodic maintenance consists of visual inspections, system performance checks and periodic cleaning of certain criti-
cal parts. Perform this procedure at twelve month intervals.
10–1–2 Reference Chapters
Many of the procedures in this chapter are described in Chapter 4, Functional Checks, Chapter 6, Service Adjust-
ments, and Chapter 7, Schematics. If part replacement is required, refer to Chapter 9, Renewal Parts.
10–2 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
1.
Perform functional checks as described in Chapter 4, Functional Checks. Exercise all console functions as de-
scribed in Operator Manual.
2.
Check power cable, transducer cable(s), footswitch cable, video monitor cable and their respective connectors
for signs of wear. Replace as required. See Chapter 9, Renewal Parts, for parts numbers and ordering informa-
tion.
3.
Check the four PC Board cooling fans; check the two power supply cooling fans for signs of wear.
4.
Ensure all power supply voltages are within tolerance.
See Chapter 6, Service Adjustments, for adjustment procedure.
5.
Check the Tilt shaft and screw for signs of wear. Make sure screws are tight. (See Chapter 9, Video Display
Monitor Assy ITEM 15 and 43)
Check the 6 of rear cover mounting screw. (See Chapter 9, OP Console Assy ITEM)
Check the 4 of the page printer mounting screw. Make sure they are tight. (See Chapter 9, OP Console Assy
ITEM)
6.
Apply touch up paint as required. Use Mist Gray.
