- NOTE:
When the transfer case is in
four-wheel low lock mode,
Stabilitrak is automatically
disabled.
Shift the transfer case into
another gear to turn the
system back on.
See "Stabilitrak System" in
Section 1 for information on
the Stabilitrak system.
NOTICE
Do not drive in Four-Wheel Low
Lock at speeds over 48 km/h
(30 mph) for any extended
period of time.
Otherwise, the transfer case
could be damaged.
The indicator lights on the buttons
will come on briefly when the igni-
tion is turned on and one light,
indicating the transfer case
setting, will stay on.
If these lights do not come on
when the ignition is turned on you
should have your vehicle serviced.
An indicator light will flash while
you are shifting and then remain
illuminated when the shift is
completed.
If the transfer case cannot make a
requested shift, it will return to the
last chosen setting.
Section 3
If there is a problem with the four-
wheel drive system, the SERV
4WD message will appear on the
Driver Information Centre display.
See "Driver Information Centre
Messages" in Section 1.
• To shift between Four-Wheel
High and Four-Wheel High
Lock, the vehicle must be trav-
elling at less than 72 km/h (45
mph). Press and release the
Four-Wheel High or Four-
Wheel High Lock button.
It may be necessary to drive in
R (Reverse) for 7.5 m (25 feet)
in order for the lock feature to
disengage.
