Rear Door Security Lock

The rear doors are fitted with locks
that help prevent passengers,
especially children, from opening
the rear doors from inside.
The locks are located on the edge
of each rear door.
You must open the rear doors to
access the locks.
When the security lock is engaged,
you can unlock the door from the
inside. But the door can only be
opened from the outside.
Security Lock Activation
To activate this feature, use the
ignition key to turn the rear door
security lock toward the front of
the vehicle, and then close the
door. To open the door, unlock it
and open it from the outside.
To deactivate this feature, use the
ignition key to turn the rear door
security lock to the vertical
position.
