Instrumentation and Controls
Random Playback
Press (random) to play the
tracks randomly rather than in
sequence.
The "random" symbol will appear
on the display.
Press the button again to turn this
feature off.

Equalisation Settings
Press AUTO EQ repeatedly to
choose one of several preset equal-
isation settings that suit different
kinds of music or radio stations.
The equalisation setting stored for
the CD player source will be auto-
matically chosen whenever you
play a compact disc.
Display Control
Press DISP to display the track
elapsed time.
To change what is normally shown
on the display (track or elapsed
time), press DISP to recall the
desired display, then hold DISP in
for two seconds.
You will hear one beep.
Source Selection
Press BAND to stop playing the
disc and switch to the radio.
Press to restart the disc.
Ejecting Discs
Press to eject the disc.
The ignition and the radio can be
on or off.
