Use the following chart to deter-
mine the maximum trailer weight,
based upon your vehicle model
and options.
Maximum Trailer Weight
Manual 1360 kg
Transmission (3,000 lbs)
Automatic 2268 kg
Transmission (5,000 lbs)
CAUTION
Trailer brakes of adequate size
are required on trailers of more
than 750 kilograms (1,653 lbs)
loaded weight.
If you do decide to pull a trailer,
here are some important points:
• The gross axle weight ratings
and the gross vehicle weight
rating must not be exceeded.
Trailer tongue weight must be
included in the total vehicle
weight.

information.

• The Gross Combination Weight
Rating is the maximum permis-
sible total loaded weight of
both the vehicle and the trailer.
Remember to include the
weights of the people that will
ride inside the vehicle.
The total of the vehicle weight
and the trailer weight must not
exceed the Gross Combination
Weight Rating.
