CE Declaration of Conformity (EEA including Switzerland)
• According to 2006/42/EC a document setting out the contents of the CE Declaration of
Conformity is included in this User Documentation.
Grounding (Finland; FI, Norway; NO, Sweden; SE and Denmark; DK)
• FI: Laite on liitettävä suojakoskettimilla varustettuun pistorasiaan.
• NO: Apparatet må tilkoples jordet stikkontact.
• SE: Apparaten skall anslutas till jordat uttag.
• DK: Apparatets stikprop skal tilsluttes en stikkontakt med jord, som giver forbindelse til

Translation: The machine must be connected to a grounded power outlet.
Radio Interference suppression (all countries except USA)
• Warning: This equipment is compliant with Class A of CISPR 32. In a residential environment
this equipment may cause radio interference.
FCC approval (USA)
• This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if
not installed and used in accordance with the User Documentation, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely
to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference
at his own expense.

User Documentation. If you make such changes or modifications, you could be required to stop

Radio devices (USA)
• This equipment contains a certified modular transmitter. The transmitter's FCC ID label is
located near the power marking label on the power cabinet. The modular transmitter is located
in the ink cabinet at the position of the ink containers (behind the plastic covers) and can only
be accessed by a service technician.

• Hereby Canon declares that the printer is in compliance with the essential requirements and
other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU (RED). The product is CE-marked to show
conformance with applicable legal requirements. The CE Declaration of Conformity is provided

Conformity declaration for Radio Law (Japan)
This end device contains an RFID module which is already approved by MIC (AC-17014) for Radio
Law.
