Connect Antenna
If the VX3Plus has the optional remote mount external antenna, please refer to the "Vehicle
Remote Mount Antenna Installation Sheet", available on the LXE Manuals CD or ServicePass
website, for details.
If the VX3Plus has an internal antenna (no antenna connector on the endcap), the antenna was
connected when the VX3Plus was manufactured.

Connect the power cable to vehicle power (See the following section titled "Vehicle
12-80VDC Direct Connection".)
- or -
to an AC adapter. (See the following section titled "External Power Supply".).
The plug and receptacle are keyed and care must be used when connecting the cables.
Tighten the nut of the plug clockwise until tight.
Secure the cable with the strain relief cable clamps.
