Connect External Headset
Note:
The VX3Plus provides an external headset connection via an audio jack connector labeled
"Audio". The audio jack accepts a headset with a 2.5mm plug, such as a mono headset with
microphone or a stereo headset. Please refer to the VX3Plus Reference Guide for information on
configuring the audio port for a mono headset with microphone or a stereo headset.
An adapter cable (LXE Part No. 9000A076CBLHEADSET1) can be attached to the audio port.
The adapter cable has a 2.5mm plug on one end to attach to the VX3Plus and a quick disconnect
connector on the other end to connect to a variety of LXE voice recognition headsets.
LXE Headsets
A coiled headset adapter cable is used to connect the VX3Plus to an LXE headset.

When the remote antenna mount is ordered, the VX3Plus does not have an audio
connector.
