Connect Antenna

Note:

Place the antenna base over the antenna pin. Push down and twist clockwise until the antenna is

secure. Repeat for second antenna connector, if present.

Adjust the antenna angle to improve RF communications with the computer network.

Note:

The external antenna (or antennas) can be remotely mounted on the vehicle. Please refer to the

"Vehicle Remote Mount Antenna Installation Sheet" for details.

VX4 User's Guide

VX4's equipped with a radio require an external antenna. A VX4 without a radio does

not use an antenna. Some VX4's may be equipped with a dual antenna option. For these

VX4's, an external antenna must be connected to each antenna connector.

Substitution of antennas is not permitted unless authorized by LXE. Use of unauthorized

antennas will void the FCC emissions certification of the VX4.
