USB-C Port
Some endcap configurations contain a USB client port. This port is labeled USB-C. Please refer
to "Components" earlier in this manual for port identification.
Caution – Do Not Use the USB-C Labeled Port for scanners, PC serial cables or printers.
The USB-C connector accepts an adapter cable which provides a USB client port. Cable requires
a nine-pin D-shell female connector for the VX3Plus.

Power off the VX3Plus before connecting the cable to the VX3Plus.
Seat the connector firmly over the pins and turn the thumbscrews in a clockwise
direction. Do not overtighten.
Use a strain relief clamp to secure the cable.
Press the power button to power up the VX3Plus.
Attach the USB end of the cable to the PC.
