The audio jack accepts a headset with a 2.5mm plug, such as a mono headset with microphone or
a stereo headset.

Connect the quick connect end of the adapter cable to the LXE headset. Align the
pins and push the connectors together until they click and are locked in place.

If the adapter cable is removed from the VX3Plus, replace the plug to ensure the
VX3Plus is environmentally sealed.
Insert the speaker or headphone plug into the audio connector; making sure the plug is
firmly seated in the audio jack.
Replace the plug when the speaker or headset is removed from the audio jack.
Use a strain relief clamp to secure the cable.
