    The TS-h2490FU has 16 memory slots. You can increase the memory capacity of the NAS by upgrading memory modules. For optimal performance, replace memory modules in all eight slots at the same time. Use only QNAP memory modules to maintain system performance and stability. You can purchase QNAP memory modules from authorized resellers.
  • Page 23 TS-hx90FU User Guide Important QNAP recommends installing modules in groups of eight. • Ensure that all eight modules are identical. • Install the groups in sequence and follow the assigned slots for each group. • Install memory modules in groups of eight or sixteen. When installing eight memory modules, install the memory in slots 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, and 16.
