Complete Performance Tests
The Complete Performance Tests verify the specifications of the
Agilent 53150A/151A/152A Counter listed in Chapter 6, "Specifications."
All of these tests can be performed without opening the instrument.
Table 1-2 lists a summary of the performance tests.
Record the results of the performance tests in the appropriate place on the
Performance Test Record, which starts on page 1-30.
To ensure that the test results are valid, the Counter and the test
equipment should be powered on for at least 30 minutes prior to beginning
the tests. This allows the internal temperatures of the equipment and the
timebase to stabilize.

Other Counter measurement functions (e.g., Averaging) are mathemati-
cally derived by the microprocessor from the parameters verified by these
performance tests. If the Counter passes the performance tests, the other
measurement functions are also functioning to specifications.
