24.2 Configuring the HDMI2 Spot Out Display

The HDMI2 port shows a secondary display that does not include the mouse or system
menus. You can use the MPX Spot Out menu to configure which channels are shown.
NOTE
If IP cameras are enabled, the Spot Out display does not show channels 17~32.
To configure the HDMI2 spot out:
1. Right-click and select Main Menu.
2. Log in using the admin account (default User Name: admin; default Password:
000000).
3. Click
and select Settings>MPX Spot Out.
4. Under Resolution, select 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
5. Under Dwell, number of seconds that the system will stay on each screen before
changing.
6. Under Split, select each type of view (View 1, View 4, View 9, View 16) and then con-
figure which channels will be shown in those views.
• Check channels or groups of channels to show them.
• Click Add or Delete to create new groups or delete existing groups.
• Click Move up and Move down to change the order channels and groups appear
on the screen.
NOTE
Any options that are checked across all view types will be shown in the sequence. For example, if
you wish to hide channel 1 on the spot out monitor, you must un-check or delete any groups that in-
clude channel 1.
7. Check Enable Sequence. This sets the spot out monitor to show all enabled groups
in sequence.
8. Click OK to save changes.
