25 M4400 Series Hard Drive
Installation
The system comes with a pre-installed 3.5" SATA hard drive. You can install up to four hard
drives up to a maximum size of 4TB each.

25.1 Installing a Hard Drive

CAUTION
Make sure that the system is OFF and the power cable is disconnected before removing/installing the
hard drive.
To install the hard drive:
1. Power off the system, and unplug all cabling from the system.
2. Remove the top panel screws (2x). Slide the top panel back and then lift to remove it
from the system.
3. Remove the hard drive bracket screws (4x) and lift the hard drive bracket out of the
system.
4. Place the hard drive bracket over the hard drive with the screw holes aligned. Insert
the hard drive screws (4x) to secure the hard drive to the bracket.
