    Managing Passwords and User Accounts By default, the system user name is admin and the password is 000000. Passwords are enabled by default and are required to access the Main Menu or connect to the system us- ing a computer or mobile device. You will be prompted to create a custom password after you connect for the first time.

For example, you may want your friend to monitor your system while you are away, while not giving full access to your system.

For example, you can set the system to record continuously during business hours and record on motion detec- tion only outside of business hours. A custom recording schedule helps reduce the amount of hard drive space required, in- creasing the time your system can retain recordings.
