OPERATION
• When sprocket (A) is at the rear of the machine:
Start the machine either by pulling levers (5) back-
wards slowly or by depressing the rear parts of pedals
(6) slowly.
• When sprocket (A) is at the front of the machine:
Start the machine either by pushing levers (5) forward
slowly or by depressing the front parts of pedals (6)
slowly.

When traveling, check that the alarm sounds normally.
If the travel alarm does not sound, contact your Komatsu distributor for repair.
REMARK
In low temperatures, if the machine travel speed is not normal, thoroughly perform the warm-up operation.
In addition, if the undercarriage is packed with mud and the machine travel speed is not normal, remove the
soil and mud from the undercarriage.
METHOD FOR STOPPING MACHINE
Avoid a sudden stop. Stop the machine gradually.
Set right and left travel levers (5) in NEUTRAL position (N).
The machine stops.
