6 Assembly and Commissioning

Type 1

For pump type 2, the connections on the suction and delivery manifolds can be freely
selected. The pump is delivered with a standard connection configuration (side
connections). In this case, the connections marked with an asterisk (*) are closed with sealing
plugs.
If a connection configuration which deviates from the standard is selected, the glued in
sealing plugs must be unscrewed and changed accordingly.
If there is adhesive residue on the thread of the plug and the drilled hole, after the plugs
have been unscrewed, this residue must be removed with a wire brush. Then, the thread is
to be cleaned with a clean cloth.
Depending on the pump, the sealing plugs must either be glued in or wrapped in PTFE tape
when screwing them in!
