Kick Type Electric Tailgate*

In the unlocked state of the door, stand behind
the tailgate, use your instep to reach below the
rear license plate position, and then retract it
to complete a correct triggering action. After
the two beeps sound, the tailgate opens or
closes slowly.
When you close the tailgate, you hear a lock
sound and the hazard warning light flashes twice,
indicating that the tailgate is closed and locked.
With the door locked, if you have a key on
your body, you can kick and open and close the
tailgate directly.
Note
The vehicle should be in locked condition
while washing. The tailgate may open by
underbody jet pressure / bucket flush.

Anti-pinch Function of Liftgate

1. During liftgate closing, when any obstacle
(such as finger) touches the anti-pinch
strip in the zone, as shown in Figure ①, it
triggers the anti-pinch function. The
liftgate opens reversely to the preset
stopping point.
KEYS, DOORS AND WINDOWS
2. During liftgate closing, when any obstacle
(such as personnel) with stronger
resistance is in the resistance anti-pinch
zone, as shown in Figure ②, the liftgate
enters the anti-pinch mode. The liftgate
opens reversely to the preset stopping
point.
Note
For the anti-pinch function of the liftgate,
a better anti-pinch cannot be realized at
every position. The position closer to the
liftgate hinge has a stronger anti-pinch
force. Please keep your finger or other
body parts away from the range of
movement to avoid any personal injury.
Liftgate Antiplay
Before the liftgate is not completely locked, if
the anti-pinch strip is triggered for 3 times,
then the liftgate enters antiplay mode. The
liftgate stops moving, and the switch is invalid.
Please close the liftgate manually.
