IPL – Host Mode
ERPLabel v. 2.0 for SAP R/3 – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
The IPL (Intermec Printer Language) can use printable or non-print-
able characters in the communication protocol. As SAPscript re-
quires printable characters, the driver must be set accordingly.
The samples and empty labels are set to use printable characters,
but may be restored to the system defaults if you select a different
printer model. The LabelShop default settings can not be used, as
they contain non-printable characters, which SAPscript prohibits.
In case this is made by mistake, ERPLabel will abort the operation
and warn the user.
The only settings that is required to have a specific setting to give
the correct result for the output file to SAPscript are:
General tab
• Non standard protocol
• Maximum number of graphic
• Reload images
• Send modified data only
The other settings on the General tab depend on the user prefer-
ences and the work mode of the printer. This is described in the
standard documentation of LabelShop or the On-line Help.
