Using the Power (I) Key

Chapter 1 — Using the CK31G Handheld Computer
To type all alphabetic characters as uppercase letters, you can
enable the Caps Lock feature on the CK31G keypad.
To enable Caps Lock
1 Press the orange
bar.
2 Press A. The Caps Lock icon (
3 Type an alphanumeric character. The letter appears as an
uppercase character on the screen.
To disable Caps Lock
• Press the orange
icon disappears from the status bar.
When you press the I key to turn off the CK31G, you actually
put the computer in Suspend mode. In Suspend mode, the
CK31G continues to supply power to all memory, but turns off
power to most hardware. This power-saving feature is designed
to prolong battery life.
When you press the I key to turn the CK31G back on, your
computer resumes where it was when you turned it off. If you
are using WPA or 802.1x security, the computer may need to
reauthenticate before it starts your application.
If the Battery light flashes and your CK31G does not resume
after pressing I, your battery may be too low to supply power.
Replace the battery. If replacing the battery does not solve the
problem, see "Booting the CK31G" on page 94.
