These sections describe the steps required to connect the switch to a power
converter:

After you connect the switch to the power converter, you must connect the power
converter to an AC or a DC power source.

Follow these steps to install the power converter on a DIN rail.
This equipment is supplied as "open type" equipment. It must be mounted
within an enclosure that is suitably designed for those specific environmental
conditions that will be present and appropriately designed to prevent personal
injury resulting from accessibility to live parts. The interior of the enclosure
must be accessible only by the use of a tool.
The enclosure must meet IP 54 or NEMA type 4 minimum enclosure rating
standards. Statement 1063
To prevent the Catalyst 2955 switch from overheating, there must be a minimum
of 3 inches between any other device and the top, bottom, or sides of the switch.
The power converter requires 1 inch of thermal spacing to prevent overheating.
Therefore, there must be a minimum of 4 inches between the power converter and
the Catalyst 2955 switch to prevent each device from overheating.
