Accumulators are necessary to regularly charge, because fully discharging of
them may lead to their damage.
Measurement can be influenced by connected Power Adapter under some
circumstances. It is recommended to test meters with charged accumulators
without connected Power Adapter.
The device is powered from four AA sized 1.2 V rechargeable accumulators.
Device is powered from USB communication interface after connection to PC via USB connector but
batteries are not charged in this case.
External power adapter (12 V) is provided for alternative power supply and batteries recharging. The
Power Supply Connector is located on the bottom side of the device.
Batteries Status Indicator is located in upper right corner of the display and indicates batteries
recharging status or external power supply indication in case of supply from external power adapter.
Batteries Status Indicator (green LED) is situated in front side of the device under key F5.
Batteries Status LED Indicator statuses:
-
no light ..................... power adapter not connected
-
flashing .................... batteries are charging
-
steady light .............. batteries are fully charged
Charging time of discharged batteries is approx. 4.5 hours.
Note:
USB connector connected to the PC does not influence the measurement.
To prevent possible damage to the Product, use only accessories and cables
provided by the manufacturer of the Product.
Device uses plastic cylindrical push-pull connectors.
