6.4 Accuracy Verification

Since the Working Standard is a Portable Reference, it offers a possibility to verify its accuracy by
another reference (e.g. more precise one). For such scenario, the WS is equipped with impulse output
capability while generates pulses proportionally to measured energy. AUX connector can be switched
into such mode.
6.4.1 How to carry out the Accuracy Verification?
External reference along with power source will be needed to carry out the verification. WS has to
measure the load point(s) by external accessories and the same load point has to be measured by
external reference. AUX connector of WS is dragged to the impulse input of the external reference.
AUX output in Measurements Settings has to be enabled (ON) for such functionality. Instead of AUX
output connector, the metrology LED can be used in a same way as any regular electricity meter, i.e.
with specific sensor.
Optionally a pulses divider (supplied by Applied Precision) can be used to lower the pulses rate if the
WS's constant modification is not enough to fulfill the possible reference's maximum pulses limitation
that may be present (e.g. with older reference standard).
