Using Client Reason and Status Codes in Trap Logs
Meaning
Client associated but not authorized.
The access point went offline,
deauthenticating the client.
Client session timeout exceeded.
The access point is busy, performing load
balancing, for example.
Client attempted to transfer data before it
was authenticated.
Client attempted to transfer data before it
was associated.
Operating System moved the client to
another access point using non-aggressive
load balancing.
Client not authorized yet, still attempting to
associate with an access point.
Client momentarily in an unknown state.
Meaning
Normal operation — no rejections of client
association requests.
Completing an AAA transaction.
802.11 authentication completed.
802.11 association completed.
Client in powersave mode.
802.11 disassociation completed.
To be deleted after disassociation.
Client not associated or authorized yet.
Automatically disabled by Operating System
for an operator-defined time.
