Gi29 Fan Install
Fan installation must be done before installing the fireplace
insert.
1. Shut the power off.
2. Remove the safety screen.
3. From the back of the unit, loosen the three top screws and re-
move the three bottom screws, then lift the fan mount plate up
and out.
4. Attach the fan to the fan mount plate with the four supplied
screws.

5. a) From the rear, feed the thermodisc and wire to the front of the
fireplace. Connect the red connector from the Fan Controller Box
to the thermodisc. Attach the thermodisc onto the clip under the
valve tray by sliding into position from the front. Slide the thermo-
disc left to right into position.

b) If you cannot reach to the thermodisc location, the media
tray can be removed. Follow steps in the manual to remove the
burner tray. Remove the 10 screws that hold the media tray on
the valve tray. Once the tray has been removed, the thermodisc
can be installed.
