2. Install the log grate with the two screws provided.
3. Evenly disperse black embers on each side of the burner tray. Ensure
the embers sit below the burner tray, so that they do not interfere
with logs 2 & 3.

The screws may need loosening before
you can slide the grate into place.
4. Fill the media tray with approximately 2lbs of the 3/4" glass, then
scatter the black sea vermiculite on top. The glass can cover parts of
the front brick panel.
There will be extra glass if you are installing a Gi29L or Gi29LU.
5. Spread the black/white embers along the front panels. When logs 6, 7,
and 8 are installed, ensure the embers are not preventing proper log
placement. It is also possible to add the embers after all logs are placed.
