Guest Steps
GUEST STEP 5
NOTE: The device will only prompt for PN entry
if required by the payment type and the card
issuer.
The guest should enter their PIN and press the
green ENTER/YES key when finished. Ifthe PIN is
unknown, the guest may be able to press the red
CANCEL/BACK/NO key two times for PIN bypass if
allowed by the issuer for the payment type.
GUEST STEP 7
The device will prompt the guest to pass the
device back to the server. The server should
press the green ENTER/YES key to print the
guest and merchant receipts to conclude the
transaction.

GUEST STEP 6
The device will inform the guest when to
remove the card, if needed, and display the
appropriate authorization message. If declined,
the server should run the transaction again or
have the guest provide another form of
payment (go back to Server Step 1).

RECEIPT PRINTING

Once the transaction is completed by the
customer, the server can choose to print
merchant and/or customer receipts.

environment or if
partial payment was
