4.5 LED Indicators

LAN LEDs
Two LAN ports (LAN 1, LAN 2) are located on the back I/O panel of the motherboard. Each
Ethernet LAN port has two LEDs. The green LED indicates activity, while the other Link LED
may be green, amber, or off to indicate the speed of the connection. Refer to the tables below
for more information.

A rear UID LED indicator (LE1) is located near the UID switch on the back I/O panel. This
UID indicator provides easy identification of a system unit that may need service.
IPMI LAN LEDs
In addition to LAN1 and LAN2, an IPMI LAN is also located on the back I/O panel. The amber
LED on the right indicates activity, while the green LED on the left indicates the speed of the
connection. Refer to the table below for more information.
