If your system is not already fully integrated with processors, system memory etc., refer to Chapter 4 for details on installing those specific components.

Riser cards position the expansion cards at a 90 degree angle, allowing them to fit inside the 1U chassis.     SuperServer 5019P-M/MR User's Manual Power Supply: 5019P-M The SuperServer 5019P-M has a single 350W high-efficiency power supply. The power supply module has an auto-switching capability, which enables them to automatically sense and operate with a 100V - 240V input voltage.
  • Page 40 You do not need to shut down the system to replace a power supply module. The redundant feature will keep the system up and running while you replace the failed hot-swap module. Replace with the same model, which can be ordered directly from Supermicro (see Contact Information in the Preface).

    Chapter 4: Motherboard Connections 4.5 Jumpers Explanation of Jumpers To modify the operation of the motherboard, jumpers are used to choose between optional settings. Jumpers create shorts between two pins to change the function associated with it. Pin 1 is identified with a square solder pad on the printed circuit board. See the motherboard layout page for jumper locations.

    SuperServer 5019P-M/MR User's Manual 4.6 LED Indicators LAN1/2 LEDs The Ethernet ports (located beside the VGA port) have two LEDs. On each port, one LED indicates activity when flashing while the other LED may be green, amber or off to indicate the speed of the connection.

    Chapter 6: BIOS Chapter 6 BIOS 6.1 Introduction This chapter describes the AMIBIOS™ Setup utility for the motherboard. The BIOS is stored on a chip and can be easily upgraded using a flash program.
