TETHERING&PORTABLE HOTSPOT
The GXV3240D can be served as a Wi-Fi access point for other devices to connect to wireless network if
hotspot is turned on.
1. Turn on hotpot by tapping on "Portable Wi-Fi hotspot". Icon
the GXV3240D.
2. Tap on "Set up Wi-Fi hotspot" to configure network SSID, security type and password. Please make
sure the password has at least 8 characters. Otherwise, users won't be able to save the setting.
3. On the other device that needs Wi-Fi access, turn on Wi-Fi,look for the SSID of the GXV3240D hotspot
and enter authentication information to get connected.
SOUND
Use the Sound settings to configure phone's sound mode, volume, ring tone and notification tone.
Silent mode. Tap on it to turn on/off the sound from speaker when there is incoming call.
HDMI. Tap on it to switch the audio output between the HDMI and local channels when HDMI device
connected. If it is on, the audio will be output via the remote HDMI device. Or it will output from local
speaker, headset or other non-HDMI audio channels.
Line order. Tap on it to select 3.5mm earphone line order "CTIA" or "OMTP". Audio loopback test for
Firmware Version 1.0.1.54
