Adding Engine Oil

Recommended engine oil: MAXIMA
Lift the cargo box (page 103), and locate engine oil cap.
1. Unscrew the oil cap.
2. Add an appropriate amount of the recommended oil type. Be
careful to not overfill. The correct oil level is between the upper
and lower level marks on the dipstick.
3. Tighten the oil cap.
4. Put the gear into "Park".
5. Engage the parking brake.
6. Start the engine and let it idle for 1-2 minutes.
7. Stop the engine.
8. Check for the leaks.
9. Check the oil level and add oil as needed to make the oil level
reach the upper mark on the dipstick.
10. Properly dispose of used filters and oils.
