9. Maintenance

9.1 On the universal transmitter
To check whether the universal transmitter's
battery is low, press on the test button.
If the test LED indicator lamp does not light
up, the lithium battery pack should be
changed.
IMPORTANT: the universal transmitter
parameters are saved when the battery is
changed.
9.2 On the control panel
The control panel acknowledges battery,
anti-tamper and radio faults for both loop
n° 1 and loop n° 2.
• Battery fault: following a system
command, the control panel voice-signals:
"Beep, fault, battery, detector X,
beep, fault, battery, remote control X"

• Anti-tamper fault: Following a system
command, the control panel voice-signals:
"Beep, fault, tamper, detector X,
beep, fault, tamper, remote control X"
• Radio fault: following a system command,
the control panel voice-signals:
"Beep, fault, radio, detector X,
beep, fault, radio, remote control X"
9.3 Changing the battery
To change the battery:
1. put the control panel in installation mode,
press:
master code
then press:
engineer installer
code
2. Open the casing of the universal
transmitter (see § on Opening the
transmitter).
3. Press the release tab on the lithium battery
pack.
4. Replace the old lithium battery pack with a
new one.
5. Put the control panel back in user mode,
press:
engineer installer
code
• The lithium battery pack must be replaced by
the same type of pack with the same technical
characteristics, i.e. (3,6 V - 4 Ah).
• We advise you to use the DAITEM BatLi26
pack available in the catalogue in order to
guarantee individual safety and equipment
reliability.
• Dispose of the waste lithium power
pack in an appropriate recycling bin.
