1. Ensure that an ADK cable is connected between the ADK connector on the T2 card and the
USB port on the host machine. The T2 with an ADK connected is shown in

2. In the Vitis™ environment, create a new hardware project using the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC.
3. In the Vitis environment, select Xilinx → Program Flash.
4. Select the hardware platform generated in step 2.
5. In the Program Flash wizard, browse to and select the BOOT.bin image file that was created
for the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC.
6. Select fsbl.elf as the init file.
7. Select qspi-x8_dual_parallel as the flash type.
8. Set the offset as 0.
9. Click Program to start programming the QSPI flash with the BOOT.bin file.
10. Wait until you see the message "Flash Operation Successful" in the Vitis console.

Programming the Bitstreams Directly

If programming the QSPI is not working with the device, the Zynq
programmed directly using the Vivado
before proceeding with the steps below.
IMPORTANT! When you install Vivado and then perform a cold boot of the servers, the image will not
persist in the devices.
