Zero
Audlo Enable
The Zero Audio Enable option mutes the radio when the volume is set below a certain user-
specifiecl
value.
Selecting
this
optbn
pops up the window
to
get the value

The valid

There are some characteristics of this option
that you must keep
in
mind. They are
as follows:
1.
ll the volume
is
tumed down below the value entered
in
the
popup
window
while the radio is
in
the transmit mode, the radio will not mute
untilthe
radio is
in
the receive rnode.
2.
lf the volume is tumed up above the value in the potrup window while the radio is in the
transmit
mode, the
radio
will not retum to the normal muting/unmuting state until the
radao
is
in
the receive npde.
3.
lf
an alert tone was
in
progress when
the volume
is
tumed up above the user-specified value,
the radio will not retum to its normal muting/unmuting state until the alert tone
is
complete.
