Radio On/Off:
• ON: Turn the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise.
• OFF: Turn the On/Off/Volume knob counter-clockwise.
Mode/Channel Selection:
• MODE: Toggle the Mode Select switch to A, B, C, D, E or F
(see the mode/channel map).
• CHANNEL: Turn the Channel Select knob to your desired
channel (see the mode/channel map).
Display Backlight/Flip:
• BACKLIGHT: Press the Display button.
• FLIP: Press and hold the Display button for 2 seconds.
Volume:
• RAISE: Turn the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise.
• LOWER: Turn the On/Off/Volume knob counter-clockwise.

    SSE 5000 Portable Radio Quick Guide Accessory Installation Antenna: Location of antenna connector • ATTACH: With the radio turned off, twist the antenna clock- wise onto the connector on the top of the radio. • REMOVE: With the radio turned off, twist the antenna counter-clockwise to remove it from the radio.
