Explosion and Fire Risk
• To avoid personal injury and product damage, check gas connection line and all gas parts for
leaks at operating pressure.
• Prior to servicing the unit, turn the power switch to the off position and remove electrical power
from the product. Use only insulated tools. Failure to do so may result in personal injury from
electrical shock.
• Prior to servicing the unit, turn the power switch to the off position and disconnect the gas
supply from the gas system. Ensure the gas supply is closed. When bleeding air or degassing,
ensure air and gas are discharged outside in a safe and proper way.
• To avoid personal injury and property damage, use appropriate equipment and protective gear.
Installing the Condensate Protection Rim
1. Remove the left panel so motor (a) is visible.
2. Remove nut (b).
3. Install condensate protection rim (c).
4. Install nut (b). Torque should be 11 ft-lb (15 Nm).
Removing the Ignition Electrode
1. Remove screw (a).
2. Remove cover.
3. Detach electrical connections.
4. Remove ignition electrode from solenoid valve.
