When using high-pressure ranges 25/59/25/25 or 25/59/59/59, the maximum setting for suction pres-
sure high alarm is raised to 18.0 bar and maximum settings for suction pressure set point 1 and set point
2 are raised to 16.0 bar.
In addition to high-pressure screw compressor types, the pressure range 25/59/59/59 can now also be
selected for a range of 'normal' screw compressor types.
New screw compressor types:
• SAB 120 S - SAB 151 L
• SAB 193 S - SAB 355 X
• SABCube 109 - 159
• SABflex 159 (Internal suction pressure sensor range -1 to 25 Bar will not change)
Old screw compressor types:
• VMY Mk 2 - VMY 447 M
• SAB 80 - S 93
• SAB 110 - 163 H Mk 2
• SAB 202 S - SAB 330 E
• SAB 128 HR - SAB 163 HR
• SAB 110 SR/LR
• GST 13 - GST 25,
• GSV 50 L - GSV 900 H
• SAB 283 - SAB 355 Mk 1
When using the high-pressure ranges 25/59/25/25 or 25/59/59/59, for the range of 'normal' screw com-
pressor types, the maximum setting for Suction pressure high alarm is raised to 18.0 bar, and maximum
setting for suction pressures (set point 1 and set point 2) are raised to 16.0 bar. All other alarm and shut-
down maximum limits will still be limited as listed in the tables in subsections 2.1.2 and 2.1.3. For the
compressor type VMY Mk 2, however, it is possible to increase the suction pressure, discharge pres-
sure, discharge temperature and oil temperature alarm/shutdown high limits and set points to the high-
pressure settings listed with bold types in Table 50.
It is the responsibility of the operator to make sure that compressor safety is not compromised
when using these high-pressure settings.
