Responsibility of the Operating Company

The operating company is the entity who operates the device for commercial or economic purposes or
appoints a third-party to use it and who bears the legal product responsibility for protecting the users,
personnel or third-parties. The device is used commercially. The operating company of the device is
therefore subject to statutory obligations for industrial safety. In addition to safety instructions in this
manual, adhere to the safety, accident prevention and environment protection regulations applicable for
the application area of this device.
These especially include:
The operating company must be well-informed about the applicable industrial safety regulations.
Within the scope of a risk analysis, it must determine additional risks that may be posed due to
special operating conditions are the installation site of the device. It must include these in the form

The operating company must check all safety devices for functionality and integrity at regular
intervals.
The operating company must ensure that the pictograms are legible and may not remove these.
The operating company may not remove and modify the nameplate.
